We're delighted to announce that Toby Lywood has joined our investment team as an Analyst. Toby will be based in London, and will focus on deal origination, research and building even stronger links with the tech startup community.
Joining the team from EY, Toby previously spent three years in the Transaction Advisory Services TMT team in London, performing financial due diligence on a mix of buy-side, sell-side and IPO transactions.
Notable deals include sell-side diligence on one of the largest fintech companies in the world, buy-side due diligence on the Series D of WorldRemit, and IPO preparation for one of the largest telco companies in the UK.
Toby also has startup experience. He spent time working in London-based Cayova, a social media platform startup. In this role, Toby performed research that was used to direct the company's marketing and product development efforts. Prior to that, Toby worked for Origin Life Sciences, an early stage life sciences company, focusing on commercial research and operations.
