We're happy to announce four new additions to the Oxx team! Phil Edmondson-Jones joins the London team as a Principal; Ingrid Bonde Åkerlind joins as an Investment Professional in Stockholm; Mark Lewis joins the London team as the Operating Partner; and Archit Rathi re-joins the firm as Intern, based in London.
This comes on the heels of an active beginning to the year. We recently closed a fund, raising $133m to invest in European software companies at the growth stage. Oxx has started deploying this capital, participating recently in portfolio company Funnel’s $47m Series B funding round, leading a $22m investment in Codility, and joining a £10m new investment in Goodlord.
Great companies are delivering real value, even in these unprecedented times, and the long-term prospects for building European B2B SaaS companies look stronger than ever. So we are delighted to welcome four new faces to our team, increasing our capacity as we search for the next generation of software leaders. Growing our team with these fantastic additions means we can engage with more companies and entrepreneurs. It also makes us even better equipped to assist our entrepreneurs practically on the front line, offering valuable experience, support and guidance.

Philip Edmondson-Jones
Phil Edmondson-Jones joins Oxx as a Principal, based in London. He was previously at Beringea, a venture and growth capital investor, where he completed 10 new and follow-on investments, focusing on B2B software companies. Prior to this, Phil worked in strategy consulting at OC&C. He began his career in financial services, with stints at the Bank of England and Merrill Lynch. Phil holds an MA in Economics and Management Studies from Cambridge University.
Ingrid Bonde Åkerlind
Ingrid Bonde Åkerlind joins the firm as an Investment Professional, based in Stockholm. Ingrid has a deep understanding of the SaaS sector, having worked in leading commercial roles for two fast growing scale-up stage companies, BlaBlaCar and Volumental. Ingrid holds an MS in Technology and Policy from MIT and a BA in Chemistry from Harvard University.
Mark Lewis
Mark Lewis joins Oxx as Operating Partner, based in London. He is an experienced, international CFO, most recently for IRIS Software Group, backed by Hg Capital, and AIM listed Valiant Petroleum plc. His varied sector experience also includes synthetic diamond manufacturing and motoring services. Mark's early career was as an engineer in electronics and software, before moving into strategy consulting for 12 years. He is a fellow of CIMA, served on its governing council for seven years, and was a non-executive director of CIMA’s joint venture with the American Institute of CPAs. He has a BA in Engineering Science, Economics and Management from Oxford University
Archit Rathi
Archit Rathi rejoins the firm as an Intern after returning from a semester at UC Berkeley to complete his MBA at the London Business School. Archit is a product specialist who became an entrepreneur following his first degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
