Oxx I makes investment in Stockholm-based IT performance monitoring company Apica

LONDON, STOCKHOLM, August 22, 2018 —

We are pleased to announce that Oxx I has made a $3.8m (USD) investment in Apica, participating alongside the company’s other main shareholders in a $12.7m follow-on funding. Existing investors include Nordic VC Industrifonden, the venture capital arm of the leading Nordic bank, SEB Venture Capital and Swedish early-stage investor KTH Chalmers Capital.

Apica is headquartered in Stockholm, with offices in Santa Monica and London, and has positioned itself as the leading IT performance monitoring company helping large enterprise customers monitor the performance of their business critical applications and APIs. The funding follows Oxx’s initial investment in Apica in August 2017, through an SPV, and the company will use the proceeds to increase further its market presence in the US and for continued product investment.

Oxx is focussed on investing in exciting B2B scale-up stage software companies with commercial traction. Oxx has offices in London and Stockholm, and invests in B2B SaaS scale-ups who are based in the UK, the Nordics and Israel. The growth capital firm was launched in early 2017 by Richard Anton and Mikael Johnsson, who both departed Amadeus Capital Partners in 2016 to found Oxx.
