Ingrid brings a mix of operational savvy and pragmatism to her role as Principal at Oxx. Having joined us in 2020, Ingrid’s background is rooted in the actual trenches of startup growth, with experience from companies like French unicorn BlaBlaCar and Swedish enterprise AI business Volumental. Whether it was leading pricing efforts or helping identify how the company could improve its go-to-market efforts, from a GTM point of view, she’s been there and done that, and knows (from experience) where startups can stumble.
Having made the leap to the investor side, she’s passionate about bridging the gap between operators and VCs, making sure founders have the operational support they need to grow sustainably—not just on paper, but in the real world. At Oxx, Ingrid works closely with Apica, Codility, Gravitee and Kodiak Hub, and her approach to working with each of the companies is simple: she’s curious, asks the sharp questions, and isn’t afraid to dig into the details.

Startups and scaleups deserve investors who understand what really drives growth beyond just the numbers. A financial plan might look great on paper, but having been on the operational side, I know the value of digging beyond the surface to dial in on understanding the underlying levers we can pull to optimise growth. I hope – and think – that this experience helps build a sense of mutual trust with founders—they see I’m there not only to challenge them thoughtfully but to work through practical solutions together.
As might be gleaned from that quote, Ingrid’s not one to take things at face value, and this makes her a valuable partner to the entrepreneurs she works with. Everyone at Oxx is an expert in GTM, but naturally we all have areas we, so to speak, geek out on. For Ingrid, this is pricing, which she sees as one of the most underutilised tools in B2B software. According to her, too many startups forget to adjust their pricing as they scale, leaving valuable revenue on the table. (If you’re interested in learning more about this, check out a couple of her articles on the topic here and here).
At the same time as she relies on her operational insights to dive deeper into companies, Ingrid’s never been shy about calling out what VCs sometimes get wrong either. Perhaps this is not only down to the operator/investor background mixing, but also the cultural mix from Ingrid’s upbringing. Being Swedish, but having grown up in the US, she embodies both the Swedish practicality and balance, and American boldness and drive. Add a French husband and years spent in France to that, and you get the French love of debate to find the right solution.
Outside of work, Ingrid is all about food and wine—her kitchen is stocked with obscure spices, and if you ever need restaurant or wine recommendations, Ingrid would be a natural first pick to ask. This despite having her hands full entertaining two children under the age of five – if you’re looking for the top playgrounds in Stockholm, hit her up!
